Diving Into The Deep
I won't go into what DITD is here, as I have already done so on the about page.
To summarize, Diving Into The Deep (DITD) is a newsletter where I write about topics I find intriguing. I take dozens of hours of research into a complex or less-known topic and compress it into a single article that’s readable in laymen's terms.
Each “deep dive” will usually be 40 - 60 minutes in length, though I value quality over reading time so the length may deviate from post to post. These deep dives take a lot of time to research and write, so as I’m just starting this newsletter I will probably only publish 4 or 5 per year (likely 1 per quarter). I do plan to write shorter articles in between these deep dives. These have no targeted reading length but will cover other interesting topics that aren’t complex enough to be a full deep dive (or often, they will be an introduction to a topic so I can gauge whether a deep dive into such a topic will be worthwhile). I’ve already published one of these smaller articles, linked below.
I’m not a writer by heart, in fact, more so the opposite; I’m a computer programmer so I’m better at writing code than I am at writing words. However, I do enjoy writing about the topics that I’m interested in, and it’s awesome that others get to learn more about them through my newsletter.
If you wish to sign-up for the email list so that you get new posts as they are published, you can sign up below. Currently, I’m not publishing paid posts, but I may enable paid subscriptions in the future as a way to support my work.
If you enjoy my posts, it’d be great if you shared them with others.
